MDH is performing the following EUA assays: Trioplex RT-PCR (Zika, dengue, Chikungunya viruses)

Urine specimens, if submitted with a paired serum, will be tested by RT-PCR for Zika RNA only.

Submit specimen along with the a completed MDH submission form.

• For test requested, check the "other" box at the bottom of the form, and indicate Zika virus.
• In the submitting laboratory comment section include the following; date of onset of symptoms and pertinent travel history (3 months prior to the day of symptom onset) are required. The travel history should include dates and countries traveled to.
