Leu22

All IHC stains will include a positive control tissue

  • Approximately 90% of peripheral T cell lymphomas are positive for Leu22
  • However, its disadvantage is that 30-40% of B cell NHL are also Leu22 positive
  • Approximately 90% of myeloid leukemias are positive for Leu22
  • The combination of CD20 positive and Leu22 positive lymphoid populations is diagnostic of malignant lymphoma

Tissue

Submit a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block

FFPE tissue section mounted on a charged, unstained slide

Ambient (preferred)

  • Unlabeled/mislabeled block
  • Insufficient tissue
  • Slides broken beyond repair
