This test is for verification of client reported results.
EDTA whole blood and air dried slides

Immediately following collection, mix sample thoroughly by gentle inverting 8 - 10 times, to prevent clotting
- Prepare 2-3 unstained smears, labeled with patient name and date of birth.
- Allow to air dry.

A completed Hematology Smear QA Review request and a copy of the CBC and differential results must be included with the specimen.
