• All IHC stains will include a positive control tissue

• LeuM1 is useful in identifying Reed-Sternberg cells in classical Hodgkin's Disease (use with BERH2/CD30)
• LeuM1 Reactivity:

Submit a formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue block

Formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue block

FFPE tissue section mounted on a charged, unstained slide

Ambient (preferred)

• Unlabeled/mislabeled block
• Insufficient tissue
• Slides broken beyond repair

Immunohistochemical staining and microscopic examination

Specifications

• LeuM1 reacts with an antigen on myelomonocytic cells (eosinophils, neutrophils, and basophils)
• LeuM1 also reacts with Reed-Sternberg cells, activated T-cells, occasional large cell B and T cell NHLs and some AMLs and CMLs
• LeuM1 labels majority of adenocarcinomas and may be only focally positive.

Staining pattern

• Cell membrane, cytoplasmic and Golgi apparatus patterns (Golgi staining is often seen with Reed-Sternberg cells of classical Hodgkin's Disease).
