This ELISA measures IgG antibodies specific for IgE. These autoantibodies have been implicated as a causative agent in autoimmune chronic urticaria. In addition, these autoantibodies have also been implicated as significant in atopic dermatitis and hyper IgE syndrome.
Immediatley following collection, mix sample by inverting 5 times

Normal
A result of normal indicates that the level of IgG anti-IgE antibodies is similar to that seen in a population of healthy individuals.
A result of elevated indicates an increased level of IgG anti-IgE antibodies compared to healthy individuals.
