All IHC stains will include a positive control tissue

• CD20 is a very useful antibody which can identify most B cell lymphomas (approximately 95%)
• CD20 also identifies Reed-Sternberg variants of nodular lymphocyte predominance Hodgkin’s disease (see section on immunohistochemistry panels)
• Rare examples of CD20 positive T cell NHL have been reported³

Submit a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block

FFPE tissue section mounted on a charged, unstained slide

Ambient (preferred)

• Unlabeled/mislabeled block
• Insufficient tissue
• Slides broken beyond repair

Immunohistochemical staining and microscopic examination

If requested, an interpretive report will be provided

Specifications:

• CD20 Reacts with an antibody found on the majority of B cells and is virtually B-cell specific

• Cell surface membrane based and/or cytoplasmic pattern
