This stain is used to detect the presence of copper and copper associated protein in tissue sections. Abnormal copper accumulations are predominantly found in liver tissue, most notably in Wilson’s disease.
Formalin vial/container
Prepare a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block
FFPE tissue block
Prepare two (2) 4 micron thick section unstained slides from an FFPE tissue block
Slides in a Slide holder - 5 specimen
