Detecting MLL or t(11q23;?) rearrangements, which are recurring abnormalities in B-cell ALL and MDS.
This test can be ordered individually or as part of the B-ALL or MDS FISH Panels. See the panel tests for more details.

MLL rearrangements are classified as unfavorable cytogenetics prognostic indicators in B-ALL according to NCCN guidelines.
A t(9;11) is classified as an intermediate cytogenetics prognostic indicator in AML.
All other variant MLL rearrangements t(?11) are classified poor/adverse cytogenetics prognostic indicator in AML.
