NS5B resistance analysis

Assessment of drug susceptibility by nucleic acid sequencing of a patient's hepatitis C virus (HCV) to the NS5B inhibitors. Assay should be used for patients with documented HCV genotype 1

Immediately following collection, thoroughly mix sample by gently inverting 5 times

  1. Allow sample to clot for a minimum of 30 minutes
  2. Spin within six (6) hours of collection
  3. Remove serum and transfer to a Screw-cap polypropylene frozen transport vial/tube - 4mL (LabCorp), labelled as serum
  4. Freeze
