The B-ALL FISH Panel is useful for detecting the prognostically significant cytogenetics FISH abnormalities used in the both the pediatric and adult B-Cell ALL according to the NCCN guidelines.

Collect bone marrow aspirate in a sterile Sodium heparin (Na hep) syringe and transfer to a sterile vial/tube

Clinical and Interpretive info

  

Normal or Abnormal with interpretation.

Aneuploidy of chromosomes 4 and 10 and t(12;21) ETV6/RUNX1 rearrangements are classified as favorable cytogenetics prognostic indicators in B-ALL.

BCR/ABL1 and MLL rearrangements and intrachromosomal amplification of chromosome 21 (iAMP21) are unfavorable cytogenetics prognostic indicators in B-ALL.
