LAB12376
LAB12379

Anti-human endothelial cell

All IHC stains will include a positive control tissue

  • CD31 is a very sensitive and specific marker for endothelial differentiation, and is probably the first choice for vascular markers in studying benign and malignant vascular tumors
  • CD31 reacts weakly with mantle zone B cells, peripheral T cells, and neutrophils
  • In cryostat sections and blood smears, CD31 also labels megakaryocytes, platelets, and some plasma cells

Specimen

Tissue

Submit a formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block

FFPE tissue section mounted on a charged, unstained slide

Ambient (preferred)

  • Unlabeled/mislabeled block
  • Insufficient tissue
  • Slides broken beyond repair
