Processing instructions:

As quickly as possible after collection of CSF, add 1 mL CSF to chilled collection tube containing 2 mL 8% (W/V) perchloric acid. Perchloric acid tube
Mix well for 30 seconds and place in an ice bath for 10 minutes
Centrifuge for 10 minutes at 1500g
Decant supernatant into a Screw-cap polypropylene frozen transport vial/tube - 4mL (LabCorp)
Freeze
