  1. Allow sample to clot for a minimum of 30 minutes
  2. Spin within two (2) hours of sample collection

  3. Transfer serum to a Transfer vial/tube with cap - 12mL (LabCorp), labelled as serum, within two (2) hours of sample collection

Neutrophil associated antibodies may occur in primary autoimmune neutropenia in both adults and children as an isolated hematological disorder. The antibodies could occur as a secondary phenomenon in various autoimmune disorders including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, myasthenia gravis, Felty's syndrome, and drug-induced neutropenia.
