  • ABO discrepancies may require antibody identification and appropriate serologic or molecular testing to be performed as required. Each technique/panel needed will be charged separately
• If the coordinator needs an A1 Lectin test for type A or type AB patients, you must add a comment to the order stating that an A1 lectin needs to be performed
• Include the UNOS# on the order that transmits to the laboratory
