Useful for:

Antibodies to Hu antigen are present in patients with paraneoplastic neurologic syndrome such as encephalomyelitis and are frequently associated with small cell lung cancer and neuroblastoma. Hu antibodies are rarely associated with non-small cell lung cancer, prostate cancer or seminoma.
