Collection instructions:

Collect specimen in three Lavender (EDTA), 4mL tubes.
Immediately following collection, mix sample thoroughly by gently inverting 8 - 10, times to prevent clotting

Processing instructions:

Spin within six (6) hours of collection.
Transfer plasma to one or more Screw-cap polypropylene frozen transport vial/tube - 4mL (LabCorp) tube(s), labelled as EDTA plasma
Immediately freeze specimen at - 20 °C. Do not place samples on dry ice until completely frozen.
Transport specimens frozen.
