• Collect 2 separate Lavender (EDTA), 4mL tubes to ensure that 3.5 mL of plasma is available for testing (1 tube will not usually yield this amount of plasma).
• Immediately following collection, mix sample thoroughly by gently inverting 8 - 10, times to prevent clotting

1. Spin within 24 hours of collection
2. Transfer a minimum of 1.1 mL of plasma into Screw-cap polypropylene frozen transport vial/tube - 4mL (LabCorp) labelled as plasma
3. Freeze
